Sutton SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SIASS) is a statutory service which operates at ‘arm’s length’ from Sutton Local Authority.
We are a small, impartial, confidential, dedicated team of four trained professionals. Each member brings a strong set of skills, expertise, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality support and services.
Our aim is to empower parents/carers and young people, ensuring they feel informed, confident, and supported in making decisions that affect their lives. Despite our size, we pride ourselves on being agile, responsive, and attentive to every individual or parent/carer and young person we work with.
Our close-knit team structure allows us to collaborate effectively, providing personalised support and maintaining consistent, high standards in everything we do. At SIASS, we believe that excellence comes not from size, but from passion, professionalism, and a genuine dedication to those we serve.
Being an impartial and confidential service means we will not “take sides” with a parent/carer, setting or professional.
We use a goal focused approach. This means we will work together to identify outcomes and what work will be done to reach these, rather than providing ongoing global support.
